Romania’s accession in the European Union, meant for many romanians, massive layoffs, lack of alternatives in terms of jobs, increased cost of living and lack of means of maintaining their families.All these,made of Jiul Valley, and thus of the community in Lupeni,the poorest areas of Romania.

We started the orphanage with the confidence that we can bring back hope and joy with God’s help, in the lives of those around us.
